You’d need to ask the DAO. What engagement have you had with the existing community of people explicitly working to nurture the protocol and community here? If the answer is none I’d recommend posting on /purple and looking to engage, otherwise I think @procoin  just looks like opportunism.

I tend to agree, I don’t see this actually becoming the gov token.

Not gonna govern anything, because not fairly distributed. Saw a few people who are on Farcaster since > fid 10’000 who missed it just because they were not on their screens for 6 hours

To be quite frank: it's a fun thing to ape into, but I don't think it has a mandate to govern anything. I think it's a smart play, but one I could not have done. 
To be honest, I don't think having a pro badge makes me better than others. Holding a purple NFT with voting power is much more a sign of being invested in making something of Farcaster.
