Creator rewards algorithm will be updated later today. The main change is that repeat engagement from the same user over the week will give you fewer points than it used to. 

Scores will go down a little bit as a result of this change.

So should I stop engaging in content? 
I don't want my friends to suffer because I engage with their content repeatedly throughout a week.
And I'm not going to keep track to only interact 1 a week

this is just meant to reward more variety vs in group connections

Yes. Not all users give equal points, but I think they are hoping by putting some caps in place plus rewarding for having “more” users interact with people, it will surface more accounts with diverse followings. 

It should be an interesting experiment!

So basically each user has a max of interactions points they can earn from another user. 👍

I am trying to be Bert’s number one fan girl. I’m going to keep liking all their content because I genuinely like it and it makes me happy. 


It’s just Bert will have a cap on Pichi points added to their score.

I don’t think takes away points, it just doesn’t give as many. So before maybe every like was 10 points, now the first one is 10, the second one is 9, the third one is 8, and so on.
