So according to this TERF: a newborn baby in a rural Algerian village where transitioning wasn't even legal managed to trick their parents into thinking they were a girl when they were actually male. Hoenstly, if you believe the fantasy, you gotta give Khelif something far more valuable than an Olympic gold medal.

For the sake of scientific accuracy, is she considered intersex? I'm personally not for transgender athletes to compete in their transitioned genders, but intersex is a real hedge case from what I understand. As with anything, defining categories mean setting boundaries, mean having ppl sitting right at these boundaries, creating controversies. Always gonna happen as long as we work with categories (which I'm not against, fwiw)

It is really fucked up what the standard of 'being a woman' is for western society. We are expected to look like white women and have their same level of hormones. So many disqualifications in African female athletes just because they have "higher levels of testosterone" when the standard is 'white women' levels of testosterone 🤔
