This company has 80,000 employees and they’re going under thanks to trumps tariffs.

No, they're going under because they've been "struggling with losses and hefty debt load for years". 

Tariffs may have been the last straw, sure, but they're a convenient excuse for what seems like a poorly run business.

Yeah I has the same read… we’re struggling to stay afloat and tariffs pushed them over the edge.

There’s a heap of companies I. A similar situation when they have to roll their corp debt at the newer interest rates, and as private credit starts to rethink their allocations:

The government should not be in the business of propping up poorly run companies.

Right and that’s kinda the point. Many many companies are close to the edge - barely getting by. They can’t afford to pay even more to the government.
