Here's the solution to the airdrop issue and how airdrops should be done

>team builds a product pre token TGE - perhaps they never even mention a token being possible, perhaps they even explicitly say it will never happen

>team invites people to use their product and test it out

>we use their product, beta testers effectively

>surprise airdrop to people who used the product

the best airdrops historically have been ones we never saw coming

if you tell people you get an airdrop for using your product, you get the wrong type of users

if you just build a great product instead, people will want to use it naturally

it doesnt matter tbh we have used plenty of protocols that didnt give us drops and vice versa

this is true. but do you think we have reached a stage where most crypto natives have some expectation of an airdrop even when founder of the product would have gone at length to say there will be no token?

Nothing makes sense if there is no purpose. Degen, producer, ambassador and just your friendly neighbor

yes, these are perfect examples of over-complicated, carefully calculated airdrops where they tried to exclude as many people as possible to avoid sellers lmao

Starknet and Scroll and ZKSync send you big shootout 😂😂😂😂 no one uses their networks after airdrops (poor drops btw)

this is the main reason I won’t be participating in that opensea xp farming slop

Pudgy was my biggest airdrop in the past year, even compared to multiple L2 launches I used extensively and qualified for. Had zero expectations for Pudgy as I didn’t even hold the NFT. Ended up buying a Lil Pudgy with it and exploring their ecosystem deeper for a couple months.

It’s always the ones you least expect $DEGEN a great example of this

the only airdrops I got recently where they felt like the oldies were pudgy penguin's token and jupiter. Other's mostly reward farmers and grifters.

surprise and genuine value always beat expectation-driven farming.

yeap! arbitrum, uniswap, hyperliquid (there was points program but a lot of people didn’t even touch it coz they can’t trade leverage)

mini app developers should distribute only to their loyal app users and not look for third-party users who have not used their product !
