All these things shape your company culture.

Couldn’t agree more. Pressure forces you to focus, build lean, and actually talk to users. Early money gives the illusion of progress when nothing real has been proven yet.

It's like giving a huge amount of money to people with zero plans. 
That money will be gone in time
