everyone is judging liquid glass by static imagery or edge cases but it was designed to be used and be seen in motion as you interact with it going to test it as soon as public beta IOS 26 comes out

don’t install unstable betas lol a few months back my phone started randomly restarting all the time and heating insanely that’s when I stopped opting in for these betas and they’ve been always like that after this yearly event

> don't judge by mockups and screen recordings > don't install betas which one is it then? when my whole phone heats up like crazy, drops frames, glitches on most interactions i have a feeling other people are going to have a bad time when a full release comes, especially on older iphones

We all know they will fix a lot of the issues but accessibility is going to be an issue. I’m waiting for someone to release a figma file to play around with it more It’s cool but performance is really bad. My phone keeps crashing and melting

Not true. There have been many issues that persisted well after the official release in September. I’ve followed this extremely closely for my entire adult life and I don’t appreciate all the gaslighting people are doing because they miss skeuomorphism to a fault. I love the overall aesthetic apple is going for here, but their keynote demos, developer sessions, and beta examples all show an extremely unpolished implementation in need of more time and a whole lot of modifications.

idk man it's a lot of GPU usage for rendering simple lists. these chips can barely handle it. no, someone's already done a very close rendition of it with svg filters. would have most people fooled
