Hey Degens, we’d love your input. As we build the new Degen App, we’re thinking carefully about how rewards should work. Tipping will be supported from day one, but we may evolve beyond the current tip allowance model. One thing’s for sure—we’ll still have a big pool of $DEGEN to reward the community. The question is: what kind of behavior should be rewarded? Some platforms reward content that gets seen the most. Others reward creators who keep people engaged. We want to hear from you—what do you think actually adds value to the Degen and Farcaster experience? Is it people who tip regularly? People who create? Curate? Start great conversations? This isn’t about creating a perfectly equal system. Naturally, more active users with bigger audiences will earn more. But we want to make sure the right types of contributions are being recognized and supported. Drop your ideas below. Your voice matters—and we’re building this together.

I agree with all @kylepatrick.eth said, but I want to add something I think is very important. Rewards should be tiered. For instance, there can be one for those with large accounts with large audience that'd give Degen a wide reach and impressions. Then there can be the one for effort, this one is for the small accounts who actually put in work for Degen's progress. This is so the reward system is fair and doesn't penalise accounts for being small with tiny reach, and reward large accounts for being large with wide reach. So I vote; 1. Regular tipping 2. Content rewards (threads, memes, Polls, Q&As, etc) that would be tiered Every real community member has been an influencer, so please don't make the mistake of rewarding influncers, or at least not more than the community members, because it would be unfair.
