Has Trump turned over a new leaf in regards to the war in Ukraine? His pivot away from Putin in the last couple months has largely surprised me. Do you think this will last or will he TACO on war efforts in the near future? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/07/14/trump-presidency-news/

It just turned out that it's not that easy to terrorize Ukraine into surrender, so you might just as well make some money in the process...

My my, most people here were saying Trump is a Russian spy - what happened to that? :)

Nothing. Do you need him to wear a 'I love Putin' shirt every day to remember all the things that have happened since November? (and most people call him a 'Russian asset', you just like to refer to the group that gets too speculative to downplay the issue)

He doesn't have to wear an "I love Putin" t-shirt, he literally says that word by word, and it still doesn't mean anything. "Russian spy" was used here on FC directly, hence the reference but even "Russian asset" was over-speculative. The whole narrative was always bullshit and people used this to further their military & imperialist agenda beyond even only Ukraine (e.g. NATO funding, US military spending, etc.) Tomorrow he might flip back and be friends with Putin again, and it again wouldn't mean anything beyond his daily ego-based flips. My point was just proven right, nothing to add really.
