I don't care if your token is the biggest on Farcaster, there is no incentive for me to build my protocol / product / mini app with it. Founders want their own swap fees, own allocations, own controls. After the fact doesn't count either.

While I'm at it, building a Farcaster client seems absolutely bizarre to me and a waste of resources imo.

Maybe this take seems harsh, but don't just start calling out other founders like with ZERO incentives for them to use it.

Farcaster is for everyone, not just the first mover.

this place matured greatly since that biggest token both launched and faded

we shall see about this. founders may want this, but there is also an element of the 'laws of the market' that dictate most of the mini apps/products will probably fall into obscurity anyways, so it won't matter. if $DEGEN incentives prove to be an efficient customer acquisition funnel for even a small % of Mini Apps, the thesis will change. also, couldn't agree less on the client part, this place is still a ghost town most of the time. need some experimenting on front-end UX/UI, just like the rest of the internet.
