Not surprised that Italy and France are at the very end…

I think France is very nationalistic about its language. It improved a lot in the last years. And Italy, I don’t know. Maybe the English classes at school are not good. 
I was not surprised based in my experience in these countries. I find it in Italy even more difficult than in France.

I agree. The median Italian cannot speak English. 
We simply don’t practice after school and then you forgot everything. 
The fact that all the movies are dubbed doesn’t help.

I didn’t know about the movies. But it makes sense.
