Last night I abruptly woke up at 4:00 am with a cramp in my left calf. worst sensation a runner can experience. I touched my calf and it was like a rock. pain lasted until I stretched it standing on it. last time I had this symptoms was like 12 years ago... all this heat and sweating are consuming my magnesium reserves. time to take some supplements

low potassium levels can contribute to muscle cramps too.

Oof that sounds awful. Hope it sorts itself out. Is that down to a lack of magnesium then?
