think this is probably more helpful for a creator struggling to write a caption / details for their video vs. the viewer. also gives them more editorial choice over what to reveal to their audience.

Great for news, podcasts, conference talks and explainers IMO. Probably not so great for films or story-driven content.

I watch videos in both Portuguese and English and now they started translating the title of videos that I watch to English and also started auto-dubbing them to English They should have figured out that I watch in both languages based on my history.... Shallow product decisions all over

For me, it saves time. I read it to know if the video has what I'm looking for.

I think for informational videos this would be useful to determine if the video has the content/value you’re looking for but otherwise I don’t like it and hope it’s something I’d be able to turn off

mm. in a video like this? nah. doesn't make sense. kinda spoils the fun. but for video podcasts and informative videos in general, i think i see the benefit. kinda like the AI summary feature you get on Google when you make a search. that's been really helpful when trying to get the answers you want and not have to read a lot of fluff. or in this case, waste time watching "...in this video, i'm going to show you...but first...(unnecessary detail i do not need. lol) makes sense?
