Should I change out the GM Farcaster mini app icon to be a square or keep as a circle?  Goal is to make the icon insta-recognizable.

Square would be better but that is not the problem. Check paragraph. It stands out because of the clean minimal design. You need a simplified icon/logo. 💙

You could try out the square, it could make the symbol more centered and thus improve visibility
