Lolz, originally tried attaching photo but didn’t work i guess🤷‍♂️. I have been enjoying all of the stone fruit at the farmers market this year !

For some reason they have been especially good so far this year, better than in recent past years I’m old enough to remember when we couldn’t get fruit all year round. So local , in season fruit was what we had. The stone fruits this summer so far are bringing me back to my childhood in the best of ways As a chef, do you do anything creative with them? I like to cut less-ripe plums up and mix with lime and cilantro and jalapeño and put it on top of fish. Besides that and adding to oatmeal, I just eat them plain.

That sounds really delicious how you prepare the , would love to see sometime. If I was to suggest a fun way to prepare stone fruit in a savory way I really enjoy mostardas.ill dig up a recipe to share as well

I agree, they have been really good this year compared to last. I know there are a few factors with weather and rainfall playing a big part. I find the most creative way to prepare stone fruit is to preserve them in a neutral way that can allow you to use them throughout the time of year when they are out of season. I learned this few years back and we would preserve in rock sugar syrup.
