finding the right way to ask the AI to think for me is more thinking than doing the thinking myself

It’s programming: • Cost/Effort up front. • Composability/Reusability on the back end. Zero-marginal cost thinking. It pays off the most for those who think in systems. Two things that really locked that in for me: • Using Claude Code/Gemini CLI as a primary UI for my computers • Having them identify repeatable tasks and storing the prompts in GitHub for me, with comments/ratings/version control

If I think therefore I am, if the AI does the thinking, is the AI therefore Terminator 2: Judgement day?

You have to get good at knowing when the tool will be more efficient.
