did anyone try both cursor and vscode+copilot RECENTLY? I’m using vscode+copilot and the agent mode is really powerful now but this month my subscription expires so I can switch eventually any thoughts / recommendations (even for other setups)? (I saw a bit about Claude code but not going for it)

I feel like chasing some idea of a top IDE model is so futile given the speed of improvements. I actually feel like the real question is should you have ChatGPT pro or only stick to Cursor or some other terminal model given the costs.

try https://zed.dev buddy. It's super fast, has all the agents, and you can even go with your own API keys. don't need to pay the editors. even a 2 week trial and can't go wrong. did I mention we can pair program with no latency?
