did anyone try both cursor and vscode+copilot RECENTLY?

I’m using vscode+copilot and the agent mode is really powerful now

but this month my subscription expires so I can switch eventually

any thoughts / recommendations (even for other setups)? 

(I saw a bit about Claude code but not going for it)

I feel like chasing some idea of a top IDE model is so futile given the speed of improvements.

I actually feel like the real question is should you have ChatGPT pro or only stick to Cursor or some other terminal model given the costs.

yea the improvements speed is crazy, every week something changes

tbh I’m not using ChatGPT as much as I did months ago, I feel like in-editor agents / chats make it a bit useless now (at least for what I’m doing)
