love seeing new or returning users introduce themselves in the /welcome channel and then pin that cast to the top of their profile. makes it easier when i discover their profile to get a feel for who they are vs. the generic, character-limited bio. here are some tips on what to include to maximize engagement: 1) what you're into (that week, that month, that year), what excites you, what you want to learn more about — give people something to engage or identify with. 2) include a photo or a link that represents you and/or your "work" — people love to see what others create and that you're real outside of farcaster. 3) ask a question about farcaster based on your interests, like favorite follows or favorite mini apps — people love to share their favorite parts of farcaster with new users.

long time no see so i decided to reintroduce myself i’m Marina and here some facts about me and my life: 13 years in marketing, including 4 years with the dream-team brands of LVMH (dior, guerlain, bulgari, celine and others). yes, it looked as glamorous as it sounds, and no, the deadlines were not any softer. i’ve also got a background in psychology (art therapy) and can say that i know how to dig into feelings, and sometimes even make them look pretty. - a book addict: more than 11K books in our home library and currently writing my own - a certified advanced diver - HD fan and once managed to fall asleep on the back seat of a harley davidson during a ride. so yeah, adaptability is my hidden superpower. now i’m trying to build my own mini apps and dreaming up a full platform for self-growth + web3 vibes. basically, i’m trying to make habits, goals, and self-development a little more fun and easy. also guilty of: - occasional nostalgia - endless coffee and sweets - cooking with a lot of garlic and hot spices so, that’s me - marketer, builder, book nerd, harley soul, and web3 explorer. hi, crypto fam 🤍
