the state of Montreal’s road construction this year has reached new heights of insanity that i never dreamed possible. it has always been a joke, but this year it’s on a whole other level. we should be embarrassed to call ourselves a city.
thank goodness i typically work from home cuz quite literally every street I turn down has detour signs on it. every block. this is not hyperbole. there are detours nested in detours nested in detours. i feel like im in some sick version of the truman show where the protagonist stays stuck in commute pergatory forever.
is any other city in the world this bad?

Montréal people… Is Schwartz’s still the go-to for a smoked-meat sandwich? I’m all for sticking with the classics but if there’s another deli doing it better, I want to know.
