found out yesterday that folks can get mortgage here
with a big discount on the tax thats saving easy north of $10k
but
you have to legally sign that you will reside in the place for at least 6 years
basically bureaucratic handcuffs to stay in Portugal against your will
and government and banks end up making far more than this amount in that time
or else they may even take your apartment or force you to pay the whole tax

curious if it'll be able toscale from working at just one cafe
funny enough this is the barista I've been ordering from for a while at his previous job lol
and that 94 cafe is founded by a very young guy under 25

I’ve looked into Portugal outlook for the next 25 years macro wise recently
and it’s quite bleak if not for crypto
as long as authorities don’t copy german etc playbook
