GM! Quick question: when you’re learning a new language, would you rather study with AI or with a real tutor? What makes you choose one over the other?

How many languages do you speak? Well, it doesn't really matter. In Languages of Farcaster, we're cocreating a dictionary in the languages of Farcaster. Here's how to say "bridge" in more than 12 languages: https://zora.co/coin/base:0xcb2339a80525d5dcd71acb342e79120f6660cdc4?referrer=0x9e38ee8cc233eea4d7b278f259aa9f801f222bbe

i reached A2 german in about a year, studying on and off. how I approached it month by month: 1: Duolingo to the first 150 words 2-4: focus on grammar and A1 level reading and listening (special books, youtube) 5-8: mostly everyday exposure in Austria, primarily reading and listening 8-12: exposure + 10 new words per day with Anki to start stretching my vocabulary to B1 I expect to reach B1 within the next 3 months through Anki + exposure. anything you would do differently?

I’ve been practicing Portuguese with ChatGPT for 2 weeks now, every day 10-20 min. Thoughts: – The accent is still a bit unnatural but bearable (mine is worse anyway) – Asking to correct my mistakes is really helpful + it always catches the errors in the right order and suggests how to improve – The fact that it can browse the web and is more or less up to date allows for many easy topics for discussion (e.g. ongoing exhibitions in Lisbon) – Transcription is mostly accurate and extremely helpful

Is there a 40 letter German word for a depressed nihilist who has nothing to live for, but who is also very concerned about surviving the coming apocalypse?
