The more headlines I read like this, the more I feel justified in my “contrarian” decision to drop out in 2021 and double down on my side-project / hackathon experience as a signal for employability. University-level computer science programs in particular have become so woefully outdated, under-resourced and downright extortive compared to what you can find for free online. I think the very premise of higher education needs to be entirely rethought.

UEV Daily Dashboard: PumpFun is attempting the old ICO route to raise additional money. The team sold a total of 125m tokens with the average wallet purchase was about $45k from just over 10k buyers. UEV Daily Dashboard: Recently GMX V1 on Arbitrum One was exploited using a flash loan and re-entrency vulnerability. The hacker, who turned out to be a white hat after returning the majority of funds minus the bounty amount ($5m), used GLP and messed with the price of Bitcoin to carry out the attack. UEV Daily Dashboard: It seems that Bonk has started to up its competition game when it comes to token launchpads. For the last 5 days straight more than 10k tokens are being launched per day with 100+ graduating. The average market cap amongst all coins is still relatively low sitting at about $35k. UEV Daily Dashboard: Stellar came out of the same train of thought and founder as Ripple's XRP Ledger with some slight differences. They both use non-mining/staking consensus, focus on cross border payments, and support tokenization however Ripple is more institutional focused while Stellar is more retail focused. https://dune.com/scoffie/stellar

UEV Daily Dashboard: Ripple's XRP Ledger is a unique blockchain compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum. With a little over 1.6m transactions per day and a ~90% success rate on transactions, the chain operates at a higher failure rate than the other two but has a similar number of transactions per day as Ethereum. UEV Daily Dashboard: Robinhood has had crypto offerings since mid 2022 and is primarily a retail driven fintech application so the insights from transfer activity can be telling on retail demand/sentiment. Interestingly, LINK's highest activity day was back in November 2024, Bitcoin's was late 2023, and UNI's was May of this year. UEV Daily Dashboard: Since we looked at Solana's xStocks yesterday, let's look at the Robinhood x Robinhood partnership in regards to tokenized private company stock like OpenAI and SpaceX.
