this cast made me just go check the USDC terms of service again and it looks like they removed the silly language prohibiting the sale/purchase of knives in november 2025! weapons that are otherwise legal are now kosher to purchase/sell using USDC! that’s dope! it was always very funny and silly to me for something like USDC to explicitly prohibit knives in their ToS 😂

1.5% for a usdc transfer may sound absurd to us in crypto, but for merchants it’s still less than half of what they already pay to stripe — so a pretty good deal from their perspective my guess is that this fee will be adjusted several times and tend to 0 as they integrate tempo with the rest of their infra
