Took the gondola π up the mountain with @rachelw before I had to head to the airport. Beautiful views! AND waffles! π§ (more pix in next reply)
AND we did NOT get stuck at the top of the mountain. Seems like a skill issue. π

Last month we took a trip to Italy and on our way from Napoli to Positano we stopped at Pompei.
When I was a young child I had book on Mt. Vesuvius and Pompei. I want to say it was the 2nd grade and depicted the disaster that happened when it erupted.
We only have a quick stop but it was fun connecting my childhood memory to the actual place. Growing up, a lot of these places I learned about I couldnβt imagine actually visiting.

When I went to Scotland, I went to the Isle of Staffa. Part of the Giants Causeway, and I got to see Puffins ridiculously closer than you could imagine.
