This lil one is coming a like three weeks. What’s some non generic advice about raising bilingual children in Japan?

happy to chime in. We're raising my son trilingual (English - me, wife's language, Japanese outside) I speak pretty good Japanese, but speak to him 90%+ in English. Same with wife's language. His daycare is 100% Japanese local and I'm cool with that. If my wife were predominately speaking Japanese, I'd probably look for more English reinforcement. (also we live in Okinawa where it's relatively normal to not be 100% Japanese)

Thanks for the input. This kind of aligns with what I’m thinking of trying to do. I guess my main goal is I’d like to reinforce English in away to where my child doesn’t resent it basically. What I’ve noticed about very fluent bilingual people is that they might have gone to weekend school or something, but they usually had a hobby or some form of native media they really connected with that helped them retain/obtain the language.
