> open folder in terminal
> run "claude" to spin up claude code for that folder
> prompt away to summarize / edit / create new files as needed

Are you having it update the vault regularly? I kind of do this at the project level with scratchpad md files

this workflow nerdsniped me even more than comet did yesterday

and the best part is i own the memories (they're just .md files after all)

1. there is literally no set up

2. you can start an obsidian vault from scratch using this workflow

obsidian is just a markdown file editor at the end of the day - so you could open the same markdown files in textedit, cursor, etc

claude code runs in terminal, so i'm really just interacting with my markdown files via natural language in terminal

if anything, it may be even easier to start from scratch and build the vault as you want it while letting claude do the work of creating / organizing the files themselves
