who needs chatgpt memory when you can use claude code with your obsidian vault?

2. you can start an obsidian vault from scratch using this workflow

obsidian is just a markdown file editor at the end of the day - so you could open the same markdown files in textedit, cursor, etc

claude code runs in terminal, so i'm really just interacting with my markdown files via natural language in terminal

if anything, it may be even easier to start from scratch and build the vault as you want it while letting claude do the work of creating / organizing the files themselves
