one of my fave challenges in a translator’s job — making wordplay jokes work in another language today’s gem: - what’s the difference between a piano, a tuna, and glue? - what? - you can tune a piano, but you can’t piano a tuna - what about the glue? - everyone gets stuck on that my dear Russian speaking frens, feel free to offer your ideas on how to translate it i have something in mind but i'm curious to look at what others think and yes, you can comment in Russian, of course

Oh I've seen this joke before! It always astonished me how translators manage to translate some puns 😁 when they manage somehow to keep the meaning - it's double astonishing hahhaa
