Why not add the ability to view each other’s holdings as easily as we can view each other’s casts? Just add a tab in the same row as Casts, Replies, Collection, Likes on the profiles page. I think I understand the valid argument for why not (i.e. intentional friction for the sake of privacy) but the recent addition of the “Recent trades” section I think implies the deprioritization of that specific type of privacy, if it can help lead to farcaster growth along with other wallet-focused changes. The information is already public. What happens after it is made much easier for the masses to follow, I don’t know. People may value privacy more then and choose which wallets they connect to their socials more carefully, etc. But I don’t see a need for fc to delay the inevitable at this point. Open to changing my mind. In navigating various pages and wallet things here, especially recent trades section, it just no longer feels like a material add-on as much as it feels like something that is actively missing. Seems very on theme with recent changes in prioritization.

Comparison is the thief of joy It would just make most people withholdings stop using the Forster wallet for almost all their trades I know I would stop using the wallet if this was a feature

I already use my farcaster wallet with the knowledge that it is publicly viewable, just not on Farcaster. I just looked up your wallet in 2 searches / 2 clicks. What’s the difference? I wouldn’t stop using the wallet, personally. I think it’s at least fair to question whether “most” would. They could allow people with your preferences to turn the feature off. As for comparison being the thief of joy, I generally agree, but I would not blame farcaster for my unhappiness just for facilitating the viewing of this information. That information could be beneficial to some people in similar ways to how people find Interface useful and maybe others. One last counterintuitive possibility is it might actually make people less unhappy for reasons related to comparison is the thief of joy because just surfing the feed you get a false impression many people are rich and making 100x trades every day when in reality most people have average holdings by definition
