Hello, friends! Привіт, друзі! 🗞️The International Mother Language Day is celebrated annually on February 21. 📃It was proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 and has been observed worldwide since 2000. Some facts: 📌There are approximately 7,100 languages spoken in the world today. 📌The most widely spoken languages are English, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, and Arabic. 📌Many languages are spoken by only a small number of people, and nearly 40% of languages are considered endangered. ❓What is your mother language? And how many languages can you speak? Languages connect us to our roots and cultures. Today we celebrate the power of words in every language!
