When the pineapple gets hot it gets juicy and spreads all over the pizza. You can’t even pick the pineapple off to escape the flavor. I love pineapple salsa and spicy/sweet combos but warm pineapple is gross

did you have a bad experience with pineapple upside-down cake because those words sound absolutely delicious! lots of fruit can be warm/hot: pineapple, apple, pear. cherries. plantains. jackfruit. lemons (with tea!). even starfruit. don't cook oranges (except the peel), bananas, kiwi. leave the durian outside for the birds
