idk who needs to hear this but ThirdWeb account abstraction embedded wallets and Farcaster social native integration are pretty good. I got passkeys, cross-platform multi-factor logins, and state-of-the-art gas-funded wallets for less than half a day of coding. Quality docs and examples. A bunch of free stuff for devs to leverage. Probably easier in a new project than shoe-horning onto existing, but that's life

most people would pattern-match Jason and Boro into "chaotic neutral" or "chaotic good" (or even "chaotic evil" some of you) but I just read the definitions and they are clearly "lawful neutral" by P.O.E. - $EGGS hews to the rules of Warpcast Rewards more precisely than anything anyone else has imagined - Lunchbreak used bonding curves, wallet abstraction, and transparency with all the rules tying their hands from any funny business. Just like FriendTech. Not like any FC-native Trust Me Bro I'll Decentralize Later stuff - and now Precoin looked craaazy to me at first, but yeah at least it's lawful I think we need to give way more credit to teams building here rather than elsewhere, with a true crypto ethos

made a fully interactive, full-stack personal project yesterday, without using React, Typescript, Tailwind or even JSX. Feels like raw dogging front end hehe. It has components, (delightful) loading states, progressive enhancement, and a ton of other comforting dx stuff. But not thinking about React components (and the layers of state menagement, render cycle control, etc.) gave me mental space to invent a new data structure. Which is cool. Way cooler than figuring out how to get ~10 components to be most efficiently aware of the user. That's a well-understood and solved problem (not with AI vibe coding tho!!!)

look ma, I just invented a new, improved encoding method "Sonyflake62", more suitable for social sharing than what those nerds at Twitter invented first. me, asking my good friend C: is sonyflake62 a known concept? or have we invented it just now C: Sonyflake62 is not a standard or widely known concept - it's a combination of two established concepts that we've put together: Sonyflake - This is a known ID generation algorithm created by Sony, similar to Twitter's Snowflake. It's designed to generate 64-bit IDs that are: Time-sortable Distributed-friendly Guaranteed unique Base62 encoding - This is a standard encoding method that converts numbers to a URL-safe string using 62 characters (0-9, A-Z, a-z). What we've done is: Taken the Sonyflake algorithm Added our own base62 encoding implementation Combined them into a single utility The name "sonyflake62" is our own creation to describe this specific implementation.
