Holy fuck, everyone that plays videogames in this town must be standing outside this store right now. The line on the line they went on sale was A LOT shorter than this pickup right now lol! Third in line when I pre-ordered and 4th the end tonight.

Been at my local GameStop since 2pm. It’s 9pm pst/12pm est and switch2 drops now for people who preordered or are lucky enough to buy one day one.

I did pop out to go DoorDash for a couple hours and came back. It was just too hot to stay outside so I hung out in the shops ac after I got done

So I guess cause they can sell it at 9pm vs midnight here that they didn't close the doors at the end of the day at all?

But yeah, this shop in particular is super tight with the local tabletop/tcg shops so the community aspect is super important to us

Makes sense. Nothing special about this so store. TCG stuff typically happens at mom and pop shops in this town.

GameStop does their own meets for tcg but they coordinate with the local shops so there’s no overlap, more playtime for everyone
