Always dear to me was this lonely hill,
And this hedge, which from so much of the
Ultimate horizon the view excludes.
But sitting and gazing, endless
Spaces beyond it, and superhuman
Silences, and profoundest quiet
I in thought pretend to myself; where
Almost my heart is overwhelmed with awe.
