Starting today, the trending feed will be removed from Farcaster apps. Trending was launched a few years ago to help user discovery. Since then we've added better ways to discover users: in-feed suggestions, rewards leaderboards and algo recommendations. Fewer than 5% of users check the trending feed everyday, and the algo we use for trending is no longer helpful for discovering new users. In the spirit of simplifying the app, we're removing this feature which has long outlived its purpose.

“Fewer than 5% of users check the trending feed everyday”. Did you try different versions? I noticed it like a month ago. It kind of blends at the top and I think it was only was available through home. It would have been ice that you could still see it even if you were navigating channels? Why would I check it every day if it shows mainly coins and not topics?
