I am disconnected from most of my family because of distance and the day to day, if there’s anything I learned this week is that I need to make more effort in connecting with the people I care about.

Today I almost had a meltdown at the airport. The flight got delayed and everyone was frustrated because their vacations were interrupted but I was frustrated because I wasn’t going to make it to my cousin’s funeral. I felt it was insensitive to assume everyone travels to “tourist” destinations always for vacations.

Why do we keep allowing this to happen? Call your representatives and demand people in office cannot hold stocks.
And I get that they could still get a cut from market manipulation via friends, family or partnerships but this is just vile. They make millions while the rest is being laid off, unable to afford groceries...
