Degens, how do you see the Farcaster client landscape playing out?

More like social (winner takes all) or like browsers (one big one, but others do well too)?

The latter, and similar to Twitter clients (one main official one, a few successful indie ones) before Twitter rugged them.

If I were trying it, I would make one that caters to communities that just need an online space to chat, leaning on the channels feature, and have it basically not mention crypto at all. Almost like a reddit app that lets you create your subreddit and default to it, and you could send to your friends and it would onboard them to your community first and foremost 

Farcaster client for turbo-normie communities that wouldn’t force the rest of the existing communities/channels on them

the challenge here, imo, is balancing normie compatibility with “degen” which is anything but; hyper online, risk tolerant, crypto obsessive. farcaster’s degens need that space as much as any group and can onboard quickly if incentivized. to this end jacek could trojan horse the degen crowd with a useful product that also appeals to normies.

ie, we’ll bring the culture and the money; normies will bring the numbers and attention 🎩
