It’s a really simple metric to check for too. 

Are the devs constantly trying to appease the “please fix price” people? Or are they quietly building in the background?

there's a strategy for each. the real projects with heavy machinery and human capital are better bets, but need time to mature. token mayflies that exist to fuck once before they die are true gambles and, indirectly, how we subsidize the better, more lasting projects.
