Hi all. Still planning on going, but want to reach out: I've been told that there are zero accomodations for anons.

Is that true? I'll deal, if so. Just a bummer. Really want to feel comfy, ya know?

what is the accommodation you're thinking about?

Not really sure; I don't go from URL to IRL. Was hoping the people who do this sort of thing would have some kinda something.

If I say something like: "I'm anon and uncomfortable with going."
I'm hoping to hear something like:"Yep, normal. Here's what we can do."

What I got was: "No, nothing."

Is that, true? Nadda?

OH! Now that is very different than what I was summarily told.

There's this on the website, which is definitely reassuring.

Yeah that's what I was referencing in my message, haven't talked to any team members personally about it though

yeah i'm adjusting to/figuring this out as well. i know they've said no doxxing/posting photos of ppl without their consent (maybe even no photos at all?), stuff like that

beyond that though i think it's unfortunately something the anon has to navigate themselves. eg figure out how you want to intro yourself etc
