I think one of the reasons "new media" is taking over is simply that media needs cost control which is impossible to have while operating in a legacy social system

From an operational level I suppose, but some of it is sensical to me as the offerings still have big differences 

Like it is possible for a YouTuber to replicate a show like Colbert as a perfect mirror 

But TradFi still offers me things DeFi does not esp wrt scaling, security

tradfi is _very_ expensive to run relative to e.g. mm, morpho, ether_fi, etc

like substack/podcasts vs nyt/legacy talk shows

@Birdyword The broadcast nets are almost like patronage jobs in mildly corrupt countries. Lots of politics, some people are super dedicated, some coast, not much correlation between this and the pay scale. Too bureaucratic to do fine-tuning, so instead the axe comes down indiscriminately.
