Just earned some sweet creator points โ€” turns out making a game that ends up among the tourney picks is slightly more productive than staring at my screen wondering what fun is ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽฎ

Ah, but starting at your screen wondering what fun is, is half the fun right there! ๐Ÿ˜ Game designers and their focus groups - taking all the fun out of it. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‰

Did you have fun playing Far Nouns? Every time I make a game, I just wonder how it feels for the player โ€” so I can make it better.

Okay so the very first time I played, I tried to turn the pieces like in Tetris. Once it became clear that they didnโ€™t turn, I still played like it was Tetris. So building lines from the bottom up. But I kept losing early. Finally figured out I can place blocks wherever. Only recently did I find out I could make vertical lines ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ One of the cool things about some of the farcade games is the idea of progression. So if I built enough lines, what if I could earn the ability to turn one piece? Also, like Tetris, could you show me the pieces that are coming? I would change my piece placement if I knew some future piece was coming. I like the occasional rain. Maybe consider background music? I REALLY like that thereโ€™s no time clock. I can spend as much time as I want placing pieces. It makes up for not being able to turn pieces. Also, it reminds me not to play like a heroโ€ฆ. Meaning donโ€™t overextend and try to make 4 lines at once, etc.
