Was thinking of reposting some of my food videos here - mostly Kuala Lumpur restaurant recommendations (I lived there for ~3 years). But then I saw the /malaysia channel only has like… 78 followers. Where are all the Malaysians at? 👀

oh reccos would be so great! I was so lost when I visited last year that we ended up going to same 3 restaurants for the whole 10 day trip to the city 🥲

You were staying at the Westin? Bukit bintang area has plenty of nice food. With din tai fung you’ll also realise in pavilion you could get pork, but at klcc it’s halal only. Exploring even stalls are good. Grab is great but there’s legitimately plenty to eat in stores

oh, i did try stall food, at the night markets, all were pretty 🤌 i was traveling with family and the chance to explore becomes quite limited when everyone has their preferences 😂 so we'd end up on grab orders only 80% of the time next time im hoping to do a local food tour / jot down reccos beforehand haha

hmm.. id like a cooking class tbh, did that vietnam and omg wow but also, while travelling, i usually go for: - authentic food [street/dining] - good protein [i personally like beef options more] - 1/2 "experiential" ambiences are nice to explore haha - rest my tummy should be happy xD
