Many people who who die and come back, from something like cardiac arrest, often report that they go through every experience, every memory that theyāve had in their entire life ā not as a flash but as a sequence of everything thatās ever happened in their life and they remember it so I do think thereās something to memory even if you donāt remember all of it in the living life

I hear psychedelics do something similar and why they are so effective helping terminally ill people cope with the impending inevitable. Itās what makes me so curious and want to try them. Iām also an overthinking chicken so havenāt

i've been working my way through How To Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan. he's a food journalist that got interested and wrote a book on his research. even if you never take the journey, i've learned a lot from his accounts of others' experiences. highly recommend!
