My opinion is 6-9 months but ask your pediatrician. They get a feel for the water. Learn how to get air by floating. It makes learning easier as they get older

Probably not the best video. My daughter learned more like this. When they are babies it’s more about them kicking to the edge and getting themselves out. Floatation devices are fun but not a replacement for learning how to maneuver in the water

900 kids die from drowning every year. I didn’t mean to imply swim team.I just think it’s important they can get themselves out of a pool if they fell in or something

controversial (?) opinion: you can acclimate a baby to water, but you can't actually teach them to swim

they will still need 1:1 supervision in or near water until they age out of toddlerhood (and often beyond)
