I’m more of a words guy than an images guy (I don’t even really take photos on vacation) but over years of being married my wife has bullied me into becoming a better photographer by forcing me to take pictures of her whenever we go out. Now I actually think I understand the basic philosophy behind working with a camera and thinking about frames, proportions, alignment and so forth. I never planned to learn this but it happened, and I have noticed many other people who have also been forcibly made into better photographers this way. The lesson: Bullying works.

lol I see it differently You took an activity you weren’t naturally enthusiastic about and you framed it as a learning experience 🤗 One of my strongly held opinions is seeing the world through a learners lens is the single best thing we can do as individuals- for ourselves, for our communities, for the world And is it ever bullying if it’s done for love? 🤣

So much of the world’s collective neuroses stem from people hanging onto things longer than their ideological shelf lives Whether it’s ideas, grudges, illusions, delusions.. No more hoarding unnecessary beliefs, free ourselves of these madnesses
