If your kids were in the NICU when they were first born and are now home ruining your life please share a photo and story

Here’s mine, Harry was born three weeks early with Jaundice. He needed constant transfusions

My daughter was 5 weeks early & in the NICU for a few days. 

However, a couple weeks after she was born — but before her due date! — I was scheduled to run a half marathon. I already had my hotel booked (with a group, raising lots of money; hard to back out of). 

My wife came down sick (with strep or something like that?) the day before. 

I PR’d and went home. 

This is not a confession; it was all my daughter’s fault.
