It’s actually insane how movie ideas used to be wildly original and now everything feels like it was engineered by a boardroom trying to optimize relatability. The average blockbuster today feels like it was created by an algorithm trained on TikTok comments and Marvel dialogue. Directors have mostly pivoted from asking the what ifs that spark intriguing movies, it’s now all about “what worked last time”

Im mostly annoyed because ive been rewatching old movies and see how far ahead they were from what we have now.

agreed, i'm no film aficionado, but cinema movies have been boring, film series have been 🔥 though
