Decided to self-pub, engaged a professional book cover designer, was very happy with their work on book 1 and have proceeded to order covers for books 2 and 3. (Planning to rapid release the trilogy mid-2025.)

How much did you pay for your covers? (,if you don't mind sharing)

Not at all! I used getcovers.com which is a Ukrainian company who uses stock photos. It’s very cheap - $35 for the premium package with unlimited revisions. I was a bit dubious at first, but my experience has been stellar. Their sample covers on their front page are pretty representative of the quality I received.
