i managed to pay myself the salary of this month without touching my ledger (felt far from this even like 3 days ago tbh). feeling very proud and happy about it. my relationship with money is being unlocked, one month at a time

technically not myself but my partner. that’s the agreement we have and that allows us to be full time mother of our soon to be two kids and me full time degen builder or funemployed or whatever. there is freedom in the way i have decided to live life, but there is also anxiety because the pile of money gets smaller and on months like this when the coins that i have my money in are down ($dickbutt and $DRB at this point) it is much more painful to have to sell them on days like this. lfg. the future is bright and this represents a new month of fresh air and building and creating a sustainable source of income that allows me to both keep creating and manifesting what i want to bring into the world but at the same time spend as much time as i can with my family

so similar situation. today i wrote the first letter to my partner with the help of claude, because we had an argument yesterday and i don't find inside me a way to deal with how to have a conversation with her that actually helps us find common ground. finding new ways to relate with the help of ai. finding new rituals. who knows maybe it helps

Similar situations here, both myself and my partner are freelance workers without a 9-5 and it's definitely hard spending that much time together, and also having the house as an office, but it has given us flexibility to spend time with the kids as they've grown up, which a lot of people don't, and to not have bosses, and to be able to essentially work when we want to, for as long as we want to. The flip side of that is no fixed income, which can be stressful, the house is often quite disorganised, and you end up spending so much time together you begin to find it hard to appreciate each other in the same ways as before. It's tough to find the balance, but neither of us want to change our work situations, so we've got to just try to focus on the positives. When the kids are a little bit older we might look at renting office space away from the home, but we just don't have the money for it right now.

and even now sometimes it is tricky. i sometimes feel that if i had a 9-5 we would both have more space and mental clarity to miss each other and connect in a different way. but the grass is always greener on the other side isn't it
